Megan Westerby
Megan Westerby is an expert in entertainment audience building with a focus on expanding digital audiences. Her approach to identifying, mapping, and analyzing audiences has been leveraged by a broad variety of entertainment industries and properties, covering everything from international television to niche podcasts and live experiences to digital videogames.
Megan started her career in entertainment at the Recording Academy working as the social and digital point person for the GRAMMY Awards. At Studio 71 she established the digital marketing and audience development framework that helped emerging YouTube stars such as Hannah Hart (My Drunk Kitchen), and Freddie Wong (Video Game High School). At Astronauts Wanted, she lead all aspects of creating the "social DNA" for scripted and unscripted projects, working closely with talent including Lilly Singh and Awkwafina. At CBS International she synthesized traditional and digital analytics to create new consumer measurement insights for the benefit of international sales on franchises such as Star Trek: Discovery. At Madison Wells, she created the Audience Insights and Research team, devoted to qualitative and quantitative measurement and actionable strategic recommendations across all entertainment types.
